Uniguest Introduces Multiple New User Experience, Security, and Network Management Features for its Tripleplay Platform

Aug 27, 2025

New capabilities streamline administration, ensure compliance, and reduce operational overhead for enterprise IT departments.

Nashville, TN, 27th August 2025: Uniguest, a global leader in digital engagement technology, today announced the release of a series of enhancements for its enterprise IPTV and Digital Signage platform, Tripleplay, that also serves as the technology backbone for several of Uniguest’s vertical-specific Hub solutions, including Uniguest Enterprise Hub, Uniguest Sports Hub, and the recently launched Uniguest Casino Hub. Tripleplay empowers users within these verticals, providing them with a single pane of glass to manage and distribute digital content across multiple endpoints, including IPTV, Digital Signage, and Enterprise Video.

This Tripleplay 25.3 software update introduces multiple new enhancements to enhance user workflows and better support the network management and operational requirements of enterprise IT departments, including:

Digital Signage Offline Fallback Options – New user-defined digital signage fallback options provide additional flexibility and control for administrators when configuring the content displayed during network outages. This ensures screens are always on but intelligently removes any offline data or content that could be inaccurate.

Pro:Idiom Software Encryption – A new software-based Pro:Idiom encryption solution ensuring continued compliance with mandatory encryption requirements in key markets.

DHCP Assigned VIP on Cluster – Support for DHCP-assigned virtual IP addresses for clusters enables comprehensive DHCP network management and reduces administrative overhead.

IPTV Portal Channel Category Navigation – The Tripleplay Interactive TV Portal navigation now displays category titles for improved user experience, building on the channel category feature introduced in 25.2.

These updates reflect our understanding of the operational challenges IT departments face when managing large-scale deployments. By focusing on network standardization, compliance, and system resilience, we're helping IT teams reduce complexity while maintaining service quality.

The offline fallback functionality is particularly valuable for any signage network where digital signs are key to elevating the audience experience and maximizing ROI. Enabling IT teams to work and fix network or hardware issues without having to worry about these interruptions causing blank screens or displaying outdated content that could impact operations or user experience.
