Uniguest today announced the promotion of Michael Rethage from their child company Touchtown to Senior Vice President, Head of Senior Living Division for the global Uniguest team.

Rethage led the operations at Pittsburgh-based technology company Touchtown for over six years, starting as director of operations in 2014, moved up to vice president of customer success in January 2014 and was in that role for four years before becoming senior vice president of operations for over a year prior to this promotion.

Not only is he deeply in tune with the needs of our customers, he has proven time and again that he can successfully incorporate consumer intel into our products and operations for the good of our business and theirs. Rethage will be leading the Touchtown division based in Pittsburgh, including creating new partner relationships to integrate more features into Touchtown’s senior living engagement products, improving processes and workflow, and utilizing customer feedback to continually evolve Touchtown’s products.

Rethage’s promotion comes after years of transforming Touchtown’s operations to make its product easy to implement and utilize so it can be more impactful for senior living communities. Under his leadership, Touchtown has taken a personalized and proactive approach to customer care, developed a 24/7 learning center, and added tiered solutions to Touchtown’s services to make its technology accessible for every community.

Throughout his continued career, he has focused on business and digital transformation through operational excellence, internal systems and project management. His experience includes leading software implementations for one of the nations’ largest healthcare providers to managing equipment projects that help run America’s Nuclear Navy.

Outside of work, he’s proven his commitment to serving others through his work with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh, Special Olympics of Western PA and has been recognized in Pittsburgh Magazine’s 40 Under 40 awards for excellence in the community and business.
