Nashville, TN 19 June 2024: Uniguest has announced a software update with multiple new features for its Interactive Patient Care (IPS) solution, pCare. pCare 24.2 introduces support for both Samsung Tizen Enterprise and the Curbell Gen 4 Pillow Speaker, in addition, multiple languages for DAISY nomination forms are now available, and patients now have access to nutritional information when ordering meals.
Uniguest’s pCare solution, including the leading virtual care solution, VideoConnect, can now run on Samsung Smart TVs with its Tizen Enterprise software platform. Enabling customers to take advantage of multiple new extensions and enterprise-level security features.
Curbell Pillow Speakers are a popular solution for patients to control in-room services, such as call systems, entertainment, and lighting. pCare users utilizing the latest Gen4 Pillow Speaker can now take advantage of a new back button and a programmable information button, that customers configure for any of their portal pages.
Patients can also now make a more informed decision when ordering their meal choice, with fractionally accurate nutritional values and dietary restrictions being displayed on the pCare meal ordering interface. They also benefit from being able to choose their preferred language when submitting DAISY Award nominations, a program that recognizes extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care, in the language of their choice.
