Uniguest Hub now offers integration with PMS solution Maestro and EMS platform Agilisys to create a more personalized Interactive TV and digital signage experience for guests.

Air Server Support for LG Displays
Uniguest Hub now supports the Air Server feature available in select LG WebOS devices, enabling guests to cast content from their mobile device to their guest room TV using Google Cast. (AirPlay and Miracast are not supported).

Netflix on Samsung Displays
Uniguest Hub now supports the native Netflix application running directly on Samsung HBU800/Q60B displays.

August 2024 - Digital Engagement Platform 24.3

Expanded Interactivity Support – This brings triggers and actions, previously only available for Container and Data Table widgets, to the Text, Image, and Directions widgets. Users can apply these expanded interactivity features to these widgets in order to drive features like template switching, content updates, and navigation within a single template.

    Apps Feed builds on the success of Community Apps, Uniguest’s portal for the centralized delivery and access of content and messages for staff, residents, families, and prospects. The new Apps Feed feature will automatically pull popular activities and dining information from Community Apps to create a single feed that showcases the most engaging content and ensures that important communications from community admins are not overlooked.

      November 2024 - Tripleplay 24.3

      Introducing Content Validity, allowing content to be scheduled with ‘valid from’ and ‘valid to’ dates, ensuring it only plays within the specified timeframe. In addition, Content Clean Up ensures expired content can now be automatically deleted for better media management. A Schedule redesign brings a refreshed user interface for display group scheduling, along with new features that simplify long-term scheduling and playlist control.

      There is also a new Interactive TV portal theme, inspired by the Invictus theme, optimized for touchscreens and operation without a remote. To accompany this we have also introduced support for the Philips 10” touchscreen display (model 10BDL5015T).

      August 2024 - Triplplay 24.2

      This release includes an operating system upgrade from CentOS7 to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 (RHEL9), ensuring improved security, performance, and long-term support. We’ve also added IPTV Portal support for the latest Samsung hospitality Tizen 7 TVs, expanding compatibility with newer displays. The Portal Editor now features Parent Pages, allowing common components to be arranged in a master layout and inherited by multiple pages for greater consistency and efficiency. Additionally, the Watch TV page is now fully editable, enabling users to customize it with images, QR codes, and text directly within the Portal Editor.

      February 2024 - Tripleplay 24.1

      • New Digital Menu Widget: Digital Menu Boards can now be created directly in the front-end UI within Tripleplay and stored as content that can be utilized within a layout. Menu widgets are fully customizable and offer the end user a simple, easy, and effective method of designing menus.Data is collected directly from EPOS systems and is used to populate menu displays dynamically. This makes configuration fast and allows for changes to be made on the fly. For example, if pricing is updated, the changes are recognized automatically and dynamically updated on the displays. The Digital Menu Widget also allows out-of-stock items to be labeled appropriately or removed entirely. This implementation also supports CSV data sources, bringing dynamic menu board design to the forefront of the Tripleplay Digital Signage application.

      November 2024 - Onelan 24.4

      New Advanced Conditional Play support for SoC displays allows for a more granular, targeted playlist structure by assigning multiple conditional play rules to individual playlist items. This makes it significantly easier to hyper-localize content based on various attributes, perfect for customers who want to maximize relevance to the unique audience in front of each screen.

       

        July 2024 - Onelan 24.2

        • Node.js support for BrightSign devices, offers support for installing and running Node.js applications directly from BrightSign media players, equipping users with greater options for creating engaging and interactive HTML-based content.
        • New Programmatic Scheduling API allows users to leverage existing third-party schedule management tools to automate the management of digital signage content on their Onelan signage network.

                Facial Recognition Tools

                eStream Photo Module users now benefit from new Facial Recognition tools that utilize Amazon’s face recognition API, Amazon Rekognition. Making it simple for organizations to create an image library from which users can easily search for photos of specific individuals or groups based on their appearance.

                        • New Handwritten Note functionality has been added to Interactive Digital Whiteboards
                          allowing clinicians to handwrite notes in a designated area on an in-room digital whiteboard to document information.
                        • The new pCare Messenger tools enable clinical and administrative users of pCare to send mass communications to patients over the pCare smart TVs. Messages can be selectively sent to a single room, a unit, or multiple units, depending on the use case.

                        • pCare – Inpatient Discharge Tracker and integration with Caregility and Zoom Telehealth Platforms.
