The brain retains 95% of a video message as opposed to 10% retention while reading. This is no surprise when a video is believed to be worth 1.8 million words according to Forrester’s popular study ‘How video will take over the world’. –Source  

90% of consumers use their mobile phones to watch video content, leading to $78.5 billion anticipated video advertising spend in the US in 2023. 

Apparently, 17 hours a week is the amount of time, on average, everybody watches online video content of some sort, with usage increasing massively post-pandemic, peaking at 19 hours a week during 2022. –Source

According to Wyzowl, 90% of companies use YouTube as a video communications channel, 86% use Facebook, and 79% LinkedIn and Instagram, but TikTok is proving to be an emerging option with it rising to become number 2 for engagement and number 3 for supporting ROI. –Source

Video is everywhere – it is something we engage with when we want to be entertained, when we are learning, when we are working – it has permeated every part of life.
